Fox Girl and the White Gazelle - BOOK REVIEW

Monday, 27 April 2020

Look how beautiful my light up globe is! This is something I can't wait to have in my very own classroom! It is covered with animals which makes it all the more interesting and exciting for children (and me)!

I absolutely love Geography and did my undergrad degree in Human Geography. Human Geography is the 'human' side (believe it or not) meaning it includes topics such as tourism, place, space, culture and environmment to name a few. I did both Human and Physical Geography up to A Level but am a bit rusty on the Physical side of things.. however I am excited to test my memory when it comes to teaching these topics and can't wait to bring in my Human knowledge into it too!

Whilst doing my degree, we went on various fieldtrips to the likes of Scotland, Malta and Slovenia. These trips were amazing and I got so much out of them because visiting a new place is something that I LOVE to do! I really hope to be able to bring this into my teaching by going on fieldtrips to explore places through Geography fieldwork. Because I love to travel and see new places, I ran 'Travel Club' when I worked as a TA. If you're interested in this, then see my post all about it under 'Enrichment Clubs'!

Maps and globes are things I can't wait to have up in my classroom to teach children all about the world around us!

My love for Geography
